Aunt Maude and Uncle Henry!

Aunt Maude & Uncle Henry are the adopted aunt and uncle of Betsy the Cow. Everyone, however, calls them “aunt” and “uncle.”

Aunt Maude is the teacher for all the young animals on the farm. She teaches reading, math, science, art, and music. She usually has a teaching assistant as well, but this role changes every year or two. Aunt Maude is also the Farm Hostess. Many student classes as well as tourists come to the farm for tours or to learn about how the farm works. Aunt Maude leads tours and outdoor classroom/field trip workshops and lessons.

Uncle Henry is Farmer Bob’s “right hand man.” He is the senior male animal on the farm, and therefore, leader of the animal community. He is the one Bob goes to with concerns and vice versa.
