About

I am an artist who writes, a writer who likes to draw.

Long story short, finding a regular practice of drawing helped me through one of the hardest transitions in my life. Most of us are only able to make change when giant shifts occur in our lives, but even then we don't have step-by-step instructions on how to do it mindfully or intentionally.

I believe that how we spend our days is how we spend our lives. I believe that the state of our nervous system directly affects how we experience the world around us. I believe in the wisdom and healing energy of creative expression.

I want you to know that real change can happen and you already have the ability for it to materialize. It requires baby steps and consistency-- which is harder said than done, but it is possible and within your reach.

I am a trauma-informed Health & Wellness Coach with a specialty in mindfulness and emotional awareness. Because I am also an artist and writer, I began to teach mindfulness and emotional intelligence through art mediums. I believe creative expression is a fundamental element to holistic well-being. â€‹â€‹

What is "Chirp and Moo"? â€‹

The first character I drew so many moons ago was Betsy the Cow. A few years into drawing little cartoons of her, I decided she needed a friend. Then came Lou. He's a little bird and he and Betsy are best mates. I believe everything in life boils down to our relationships, beginning with our relationship with ourself. I began exploring stories through Betsy and Lou and their relationship with each other and their community (Ridgeway Valley Farm). These stories were the basis of the seven children's books I have self-published.
